Terms of Use
Last updated: July 13, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Emppo, a collaborative event music planning platform for DJs, agencies, and invited event hosts.
Use of the service
You may use Emppo only in accordance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.
Workspaces and collaborators
Events belong to workspaces. Solo DJ workspaces, agency workspaces, DJ memberships, and host portals have different access levels. You are responsible for inviting only appropriate collaborators and managing access to your workspaces and events.
Customer content
You retain ownership of event details, notes, playlist information, comments, and other content you submit. You grant Emppo permission to process that content as needed to provide the service, including AI assistance, metadata resolution, exports, and collaboration features.
AI suggestions
AI-generated suggestions are provided to assist planning. DJs and agencies remain responsible for reviewing, accepting, editing, or rejecting AI output before using it for an event.
Music providers and performance rights
Music metadata, playlist exports, and provider integrations are for planning and workflow convenience. Emppo does not grant public performance rights, streaming rights, download rights, or any other music license.
Billing
Paid plans, credits, and subscriptions may be billed through third-party payment providers. Workspace plans, limits, credits, and billing status apply according to the selected workspace and plan.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, upload unlawful content, violate third-party rights, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the platform.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We may also update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emppo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
