Emppo helps DJs, agencies, and event hosts collaborate on event music planning. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as name, email address, password, workspace membership, billing status, and settings. We also collect event planning information entered into the product, including event details, timelines, music preferences, playlist items, comments, tasks, collaborator details, and host portal submissions.

How we use information

We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, manage workspaces, invite collaborators, process billing, generate event plans, prepare exports, improve product reliability, and communicate service-related updates.

Hosts and event collaborators

Hosts access a limited event portal through an invitation link or account flow. Host information is used for the event they are invited to and is visible to authorized DJs or agency users for that event.

AI and music providers

When AI or music provider features are used, event and playlist information may be processed to generate suggestions, resolve music metadata, or create exports. API keys and provider tokens are handled server-side and are not exposed to the frontend.

Billing and payments

Payments may be processed by third-party billing providers such as Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the product, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, billing, AI, and music provider services, where needed to provide the service.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. Users may request deletion of account or workspace data where supported by the product and applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
